Certificate Programs

The 2-year certificate programs in Viticulture and Enology are continuing education programs offered through WSU Extension. These non-credit, professional certificate programs are tailored for people who are interested in working in the wine industry - grape growing and/or winemaking - but are not interested in obtaining a college degree.

Self-Directed Courses

If the certificate program doesn't work for you, then you may be interested in purchasing individual courses. The courses are identical to the certificate program courses, but you will complete them on your own. Click here to begin your winemaking and grape production education.

2nd Winery Tour Planned

Saturday and Sunday, May 8-9th, 2010

Our first Winery Tour and Workshop was so successful, we will be doing it again. This one will be held in beautiful Lake Chelan during apple blossom season. We'll tour six wineries, go behind the scenes with the owners and winemakers, and participate in a workshop with WSU Enologist, Jim Harbertson. If you are serious about becoming a winemaker then you won't want to miss this event. Email Theresa Beaver for more information.
