Requirements & Options
Cost of Program:
The cost for the WSU Viticulture Certificate program is $3495.00 if paid in one payment, although we offer a three-payment option of $1300.00 each for a total of $3900.00. This includes all fees associated with the split payments. If a student decides to drop out of the program at any time, they will be subjected to non-refundable fees according to the following structure:

Computer Requirements:
Online presentations are offered utilizing the Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro program. Students download presentations over the internet (56K dialup connection minimum) to view presentations. All students are required to have access to a computer capable of downloading and using the latest Adobe Flash Player. No additional software is required to participate in this program; all material is easily downloaded.
Course Material:
All course material will be mailed to each participant, as part of their registration fee. Some units may have material that can also be downloaded using Microsoft Sharepoint. When students successfully complete registration for the class, web access will be given via the Certificate Coordinator.
Successful completion of the certificate program will include attendance at all of the following events, held in Prosser, Washington at the Irrigated Agriculture Research and Extension Center.
Students are responsible for their own travel and lodging while attending grape camps. Prosser has a large Best Western Hotel in addition to local motels and B&B's in town. Food during the grape camps is also not provided; however the program makes every effort to provide lunches during the weekend, and usually there is a barbeque or potluck during the weekend.
Program documentation:
To earn a certificate for the entire program, registrants must successfully complete (Pass/Fail) ALL units.
Students may take the online portion of the course without attending the grape camps; however students will not receive a certificate of completion. Class maximum will still be 30 students, regardless of those attending the grape camps.
